RAISED BED EQUIPMENT - Professional Series                                             BUCKEYE TRACTOR CO
BEDDER-LAYER COMBOS

Superior control
& accuracy

Furrow shanks loosen wheel compaction and cut furrows in front of the shaper pan. The narrow cutting edge with a center point pulls with balance. Bed shapers always pull straight with penetrating ease. No side-drafting problems like plow-style bedders. No gadgets. Proven simplicity.
Furrow wings start forming the entire  furrow. When forming a common furrow between bed tops (with one-row bed shapers), the front tractor wheel can be properly aligned for precise bed spacing. No tractor weaving. No contacting the previous bed. No need to offset the bed shaper. Soil flow is balanced. Beds will appear as if formed with a 3-row shaper!
When forming drive-space beds with furrows inside of tractor wheels or when forming wide-space beds, simply remove the outside furrow wings.

Surface drainage solutions
We offer many practical surface drainage solutions. One way to improve surface drainage is using contoured rows. While curvy rows may be catchy to the eye, opting for straight point rows between contoured drainways is generally more practical for many reasons.
Small wet spots can often simply be leveled, which is a minor investment compared to the overall effort needed to do field work on contoured rows.
Guide disks are not needed for slopes. But for the occasional grower that needs to farm on the hillside, when tractors and equipment clearly tend to side-crawl when driving across a steep slope, install guide disks to "steer" bedder-layers with the tractor 3-point hitch. Both the tractor and bedder-layer perform best.
We also offer solutions for beds to be stepped on the hillside. Each bed top can be level instead of sloping with the hill.
