This layer features a high-clearance toolbar and roll carriage. A second set of tuck wheels positioned under the carriage pulls wider material down to the soil. Laying plastic on raised beds up to 10", 12" or higher is like laying row cover over pre-set wire hoops for row tunnels. This machine does either one.    
    Crop covering practices vary widely. Besides tunnels are floating row cover, hot pots and hoophouses, which are all solutions for an earlier growing season. Each have advantages and growers often use more than one solution. Feel free to call us with your needs.
